Metallic is the most popular clothing type to celebrate New Year’s Eve and for good reason; it’s bright, cheery and reminiscent of stars.

I’ve never complained about the non-spoken requirement of metallic apparel to every NYE party invite and I’m not here to do it now.

I’m just here to say, “Consider your options.”

I love metallic everything, but I’d like my new year’s outfit to reflect more precisely the year I aim to have. I want a statement power suit to reflect my intentions to grow my business and take my ambitions seriously.

I want a maxi skirt, bodysuit combo since I don’t currently own any maxi skirts and I want the new year to produce more positive risk-taking.

I want my NYE outfits to evolve in the same way my years do – Getting better every time.

So I’m switching it up this year with some really new New Year’s Eve outfit options; see below. What are you wearing to welcome 2022?

Hey, I never said absolutely no to metallic! This dress is a bit more formal that your usual NYE minidress, but it’s so oddly elegant I couldn’t resist. Maybe I’ll grab this if I’m feeling the nostalgia.

Catwalk Connection Elvis Blue Two Piece Set ($199)

I’m a fan of a power suit, always. I’m an even bigger fan of a blue velvet power suit on New Year’s Eve baby!

We all know I love a statement pant; these make the cut! I love that I can pair these with anything because of their unusual neutral color. I’m so used to dark pants that this bright nude is a welcome break from all the usual options. Pair these with a bright sweater and dance all night!

The Attico Fujiko Multicolor Mini Dress ($2450)

This dress is so gd cute! It’s giving fun modern art energy and we love! Sometimes all you want in an outfit is something you can dance freely in; this dress makes that easy. It’s a fun way of sashaying into the new year!
