What Makes Great Summer Shoes
I believe great summer shoes must be fashionable, functional and ideally leave no weird tan lines. Fashionable meaning they are aesthetically pleasing. I would proudly wear them to complement my (surely) adorable summer look.
Functional meaning I can wear them for long periods. Walking is one of my favorite activities to do during the summer. Just walking around my neighborhood, exploring new places, going wherever. A great shoe should be comfortable during my escapades, not a pain.
The last criterion is the hardest to meet: no weird tan lines. I confess the majority of my summer shoes leave weird tan lines. I put up with them since the shoes are too damn cute, and my options for walking shoes are limited. But ideally, the perfect summer shoe wouldn’t leave my feet looking like poorly stenciled spray art.
