The Boot Cycle
I’ve been revamping my wardrobe and one of the key elements I need is boots for fall and winter. I’ve worn the same black Naturalizer boots for FOUR years now. (I say FOUR because if you were to see them, it’s obvious they need a break and/or retirement.)
I doubt I’ll ever find a pair of boots I love as much as those Naturalizers though. As I write this I’m considering buying another…
Steve Madden Makes Perfect Boots
But this post isn’t about my old, well-loved boots. It’s about new, beautiful boots I found during my search!
Behold: The Steve Madden Nia Patent Ankle Boot.
I got these boots on sale at Nordstrom Rack for only $54.97! A steal for a women’s boot I plan on wearing for at least a few years. I was originally drawn to these because of the color.
That mauve is the perfect muted pink for fall. It’s so muted in fact it’s nearly nude making it unendingly versatile.
The patent leather adds a sexiness to a potentially casual look or the perfect end to a night-out ensemble. It’s about a 3.5” heel which to me is perfect for short errands and short walks.
(I should write a post detailing my scale of heel heights and their respective wearable activities..) Basically, this boot is the perfect replacement for my Naturalizer 3.5”ish heels.
They’re the perfect fall / light winter addition to my revamp-in-progress closet.
Styled here for a work casual look, the boots are a welcome surprise to the otherwise brown or nude shoe I would pair with this outfit. They add a touch of flair, no?
Luckily, these lovely little boots are also available in cognac and black. If I weren’t so into this mauve, I would definitely scoop up cognac.
It’s a beautiful caramel/milk chocolate color that reminds me of how gorgeous brown monochromatic outfits are.
Final Word
You need a fall boot and you don’t want to spend an enormous amount of money, trust me! Please welcome these Steve Madden boots into the chat. They’re cute, unique and essential to your fall wardrobe.
